About Us

Launched in 2004, ifp are a leading firm of Independent Financial Advisers. The business was set up with the aim of becoming a Premier Independent Financial Advisory Firm. We are based in the North of England with offices in Leeds and Hull. Although most of our clients are in the Yorkshire area, we have clients throughout the country. We have grown strongly since launch, both organically and acquisitively and continue to develop a professional team to service our growing client base.

We are pleased to have established an enviable reputation with both our clients and the professional practices we work closely with. We are known for our in-depth and expert advice and the personal service we provide all our clients on an ongoing basis.

To fulfil the goals set out in our Mission Statement, it is vital that the calibre of our employees is of the highest standards. We are confident that our staff, from back office and administration to our independent financial planners, have the highest professional standards. The advisers at ifp are some of the most qualified and professionally competent in the UK. Indeed our founder and Managing Director, Kevin Ferriby, was one of the first Chartered Financial Planners in the country.

Whilst it is important for all advisers to have expertise in general financial planning, we realise that it is difficult for any one person to specialise in all areas of financial planning. Therefore, most advisers at ifp also have specialist expertise in specific financial planning matters, such as Pensions, Long Term Care, Investments, Mortgages and Tax, to name just a few. This allows us to help our clients even if they have very complex situations or problems that need to be resolved.
