Tell us about yourself

My name is Georgina Stocker and I am 25 years old. I am originally from Sheffield, but now live in Beverley. I have a 1 year old daughter, who is my world.

What was your life like before Informed Financial Planning?

Prior to being at Informed Financial Planning I had my daughter and worked in retail management. I also recently graduated from The University of Sheffield.

What does your social life look like?

At the moment it is very rare that I get any free time, but most it is spent with my family and the occasional meal or night out with friends. If I would have answered this whilst at University, the answer would be the polar opposite to what my social life is like currently, I was a party animal!

Name your favourite food

My favourite food has to be Homous and Falafel, I could eat it for every meal.

Name your dream holiday

Cuba, I have already been but it was a truly unique place to be, the cars, the sights, the beaches and not to mention the weather!

You are stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you take?

I would take my daughter, a lifetime supply of Chai Tea, and my iPhone with Bear Grylls mobile number stored in it.

If you could have dinner with a celebrity, who would it be?

Will Ferrell because he is hilarious, and if he wasn’t free then Aaron Paul- Google him and you’ll see why!

What is your most memorable moment to date?

Becoming a Mum for the first time, definitely.

What are your career aspirations?

I am aiming to pass the rest of my DipPFS exams this year, and use these to excel further in the financial services industry. Ultimately to become a Chartered Financial Planner.

What made you apply for Informed Financial Planning?

I wanted to get my foot in the door in the financial services sector, and was aware that Informed Financial Planning are a fast growing extremely successful local firm, I wanted to become part of this. I applied for the role after passing my RO1 exam.

What did you enjoy most about your first week at Informed Financial Planning?

My first week at Informed Financial Planning was truly amazing, I enjoyed how much support I got from my fellow employees, they have taught me an enormous amount in the space of just a week!

What did you enjoy least about your first week at Informed Financial Planning?

I didn’t enjoy having to leave my daughter at nursery for the first time, although I think I missed her more than she did me!

What was your very first impression of Informed Financial Planning?

My first impression was that Informed Financial Planning is a warm, welcoming and down to earth place to work.

If you could spend 1 day living the life of a colleague at Informed Financial Planning, who would it be?

It would be in the life of Rebecca Colley, so I could see the nitty gritty of what goes on in the life of an Operations Director.

A genie grants you 3 wishes, what would they be?

1) To be able to time travel 2) To have the ability to DJ 3) A cure for all illnesses and diseases.
