Kevin Ferriby

Chartered Financial Planner

Kevin is the Founder of the Company. He was one of the first financial advisers in the UK to become a Chartered Financial Planner. He is a Fellow Member of both the Personal Finance Society and the Association of Accounting Technicians. He is also the holder of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Certificate in Financial Services and the Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients. His accountancy background combined with his financial services experience and qualifications means that he spends most of his time dealing with the needs of our more sophisticated clients and our network of professional connections. Kevin is also an experienced presenter to both clients and fellow professionals on a variety of topics.

Away from the office, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, watching rugby league, cycling, travelling and skiing. In addition, he fulfils the role of trustee for two local charities.


Rebecca Colley

Chartered Financial Planner

Becky is our Operations Director and oversees the day to day running of the business whilst holding responsibility for the compliance oversight function within the firm. She joined IFP in January 2008 and now has 10 years’ experience in Financial Services. Becky has obtained Chartered status and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society having obtained the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. Her examination record is without parallel, having been recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute on three occasions for outstanding success.

She spends time advising individuals and companies with typically more complex financial planning needs and manages key relationships with professional connections in the local area. Her technical knowledge coupled with meticulous preparation ensures that our clients receive a high-quality professional service.

Out of the office Becky has a keen interest in history and football and in her spare time enjoys hiking, travel and socialising with friends and family.


Gregg Crawford

Senior Financial Planner

Gregg has been involved in the financial services profession for 15 years following the completion of his Honours Degree in Business Studies. He since developed his career both through his experience and professional qualifications and currently holds the Diploma in Financial Planning. Gregg specialises in dealing with Private Clients and is responsible for a number of strategic alliances with professional firms in the East Yorkshire area.

When not at the office Gregg’s spare time is occupied by spending time with his family and socialising with his friends.


Andy Collinson

Senior Financial Planner

Andy joined IFP in the summer of 2008 as a Senior Financial Planner and has been in the financial services profession for 35 years. Most of his early career was spent with a major UK life office and he has a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of markets and product areas. His prime focus has been in the pensions arena ranging from advising clients on their options at retirement, SIPPs, SSAS’ and group employer arrangements as well as general tax, investment and estate planning.

Outside of the office, Andy enjoys the great outdoors, camping, running, mountain biking, walking, travel, music and spending time with his family.


Darren Goodall

Senior Financial Planner

Darren joined the financial services sector after graduating from University in 2000 and has since achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning. He has a strong knowledge of all areas of financial planning, specialising in investments, pre and post retirement planning and equity release. Darren spends a significant amount of his time managing our relationship with a prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants in South Yorkshire, as well as providing a high quality service to our West Yorkshire based clients.

In his spare time Darren is an avid traveller, and spends a lot of time playing football, fell running and watching his beloved Stoke City!


John Copsey

Chartered Financial Planner

John joined the company as a Senior Financial Planner in October 2009 having previously worked for the UK’s largest pension company. He has now achieved Chartered status and has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector. John spends much of his time looking after our corporate and personal clients across Yorkshire and is also involved in making presentations to clients and fellow professionals.

Away from the office John is a keen rugby union fan and enjoys socialising.


Joe Sanders

Chartered Financial Planner

Joe joined IFP as a Research Analyst in 2011 after graduating from Hull University with a degree in Business and Financial Management. Joe’s hardworking attitude has allowed him to become an important part within IFP.

Joe has continued to develop with the company and was authorised to provide financial advice on the full spectrum of financial planning needs in 2014. He holds a number of specialist investment and retirement qualifications and is currently one of the youngest Fellows of the Personal Finance Society. Joe also became a Chartered Financial Planner in May 2016.

In December 2016, Joe received notification from Citywire New Model Adviser that he was named in the ‘Top 35 Advisers under 35’ throughout the United Kingdom.

In his spare time, Joe has a keen interest in sports and plays rugby union for Hull Ionians.


Josh Richardson

Financial Planner

Josh Richardson joined IFP in 2015 following the completion of his Masters in Law Degree at Northumbria University. He is currently working towards his CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and has three exams remaining prior to completion. Josh’s main role involves working closely with the advisers at IFP in relation to product research and writing reports. Josh also works closely with Financial Planner, John Copsey, with regards to Auto Enrolment.

In Josh’s spare time he enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching football and cricket.


Anjeanette Kemp

Practice Manager

Anjeanette Kemp joined IFP in November 2015 as our Practice Manager, a newly created role to meet the demands of our ever expanding business. Anjeanette has worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years. Prior to working for IFP, Anjeanette has gained management experience in various roles from education, local government, manufacturing and retail.

Out of the office Anjeanette enjoys spending time with friends and family travelling and eating good food.


Elaine Baker

Compliance Officer

Elaine joined IFP in October 2016 as a Compliance Officer, another newly created role. Elaine started work in Financial Services in 1982, during the pre Compliance days, for a large Life Assurance Company and has seen many changes within the industry during the last 34 years.  She brings to us her valuable experience of having had various Compliance roles, these vary from working for an IFA network to her previous role as a Compliance Officer in a Stockbrokers in Leeds.

In her spare time Elaine enjoys spending time with her family and friends.




Sarah Williams

Management Accountant

I’m Sarah, IFP’s Company Accountant. I have over 10 years experience working in the accountancy industry and qualified with Chartered Certified status in 2016. I made the move from an accountancy practice to follow my ambition of becoming a company accountant, an opportunity with IFP which I couldn’t miss!

I am married with two sons so when I’m not at work, I love to have family days out or even family days in just chilling, watching films or baking.

On the rare occasion I get a night out, I love to spend my time eating, drinking and dancing with friends (who doesn’t?).

Sally Bates

Exectutive PA

Sally joined IFP in October 2016 as Executive PA, this is a newly created role to support the Directors and Practice Manager with their ever increasing workloads.   Sally has brought to us, her experience working as a PA at Board level within a range of environments including education, advertising & design and broadcasting.

She has family in Hull, Leeds and Bradford and travels to London whenever she can to meet up with friends.


Elizabeth Bell

Senior Paraplanner

Liz joined IFP in March 2016 as Senior Paraplanner. Liz has now been paraplanning for over 10 years, having previously spent time as an Adviser, both as an Independent adviser and for a large Life Assurance company. She is Diploma qualified and always looking to learn.

Outside of  work, Liz spends time reading and watching TV/films – usually whilst acting as a cat cushion for her two furry boys. Liz also enjoys holidays and swimming and generally spending time with friends and family.


Georgina Stocker


Georgina joined IFP as Research Support in February 2016. She graduated from The University Of Sheffield in 2012 and is now working towards her CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Georgina’s main duties involve working closely with advisers at IFP in relation to report writing and research.

In her spare time Georgina enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and close friends.


Charlene Coulbeck


Charlene joined IFP in September 2016 after previously working for another firm of financial advisers. Charlene left to go backpacking down the east coast of Australia and has since joined IFP as a paraplanner. She is currently studying towards the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Charlene’s role involves working closely with the advisers, preparing recommendation reports and conducting product research.

Outside of work Charlene enjoys spending time with friends and family, trips to the cinema and also going to music gigs.


Ashley Biglin


Ashley joined IFP’s Graduate Trainee Scheme in May 2017 after obtaining a Degree in Accountancy from the University of Hull. The scheme involves thorough technical training alongside working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Aside from work, Ashley enjoys socialising with family and friends and going to the gym. His main interests are fashion, music and football – he’s a big Liverpool fan!

Aaron Koshy

Technical Assistant

Aaron joined the company in August 2016 as part of the paraplanning team having completed his A-Levels. Carrying out product research and fund analysis for a number of our advisers, he is eager to better his technical understanding from those around him and aims to take a number of CII exams during his time with the business before he moves on to life at university and that which lies ahead.

In his spare time, Aaron can be found enjoying the company of friends, in the gym or enjoying the care-free melodies of his record collection.



Jessica McMahon

Marketing & Events Planner

Jessica joined IFP in March 2010 and was our very first apprentice. She has since gained a number of financial qualifications and is now studying for the Professional Certificate in Marketing with the CIM. Jessica deals with all things marketing for the firm with her main responsibilities being our website, social media, handling company blogs and event planning.

Outside of work, Jessica convinces herself she is a gym-goer but we don’t think that once a year quite makes the cut! She loves going on holidays and spending time with her family and friends.


Samantha Sharp

Reviews Team Leader

Sam Sharp joined IFP as an Administrator in May 2015 after gaining 7 years previous experience at Hull College. During this time, Sam completed her NVQ L3 in Business Administration and L3 CIPD Diploma in Human Resources. Sam is working alongside Frankie and together they manage our review process – analysing and reviewing our client’s financial plans to ensure they remain in line with their initial objective, as well other general administration duties.

When not at the office, Sam enjoys socialising with friends and family. She also has a keen interest in fashion and you will always find her browsing ASOS on her lunch…


Laura Barber


Laura joined Informed Financial Planning in April 2017 as a Part Time Administrator. She is currently working alongside Sam Sharp managing our ongoing review service.

Laura previously worked for the Civil Service for over 15 years between HMRC and the Intelligence Team for the Home Office.

She is married with two young daughters who keep her very busy. Laura spends her spare time with family and friends and is partial to the occasional glass of wine!

Elaine Fyfe

New Business Team Leader

Elaine joined IFP as an Administrator following a merger with another practice in June 2008. She had spent 15 years with her previous firm acting within a similar role after beginning her career as an Audio Typist in 1993.

She spends most of her time liaising with providers and clients to ensure that the implementation of our strategies achieve positive and efficient outcomes.

In her spare time Elaine enjoys visiting the theatre, walking, running and reading. Elaine is also an animal lover and is currently plotting to steal her mum’s pug, Max.


Bethany Jones

New Business Administrator

Beth joined IFP in October 2014 as an Administration Apprentice, shortly after finishing her Accounting and Law A-levels at Wyke Sixth Form College. Beth’s hard working attitude and enthusiasm was recognised and in September 2015, she was offered a full time position as Business Processor.

Beth is now studying to gain the NVQ Level 2 in Financial Services alongside the CII Certificate in Financial Administration. Currently, her duties mainly include client communication, provider contact and working closely with our advisers providing them with support and assistance on a daily basis.

In her spare time, Beth enjoys fitness classes at her local gym, as well as spending time with her family and friends.


Mandie Masters

New Business Administrator

Mandie joined IFP in August 2016 as a Pre-Sale Administrator in the New Business Team. Prior to joining IFP, Mandie worked for 15 years within the NHS where she had gained experience as an NVQ Assessor and an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care. Mandie works alongside her Team Leader and her role mainly consists of contacting providers to request information for numerous different products.

When not in the office, Mandie is usually found socialising with friends and going for long walks with her dog. Mandie also has a slight obsession which involves buying numerous coats and hats! We wonder what her favourite season is?
