Step Certificate Success for Kevin Ferriby!
The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of estates, trusts and related issues. STEP members also help families comply with the often complex tax rules surrounding trusts, estates and inheritance.
Step Certificate Success
We are delighted to announce that Kevin Ferriby – Informed Financial Planning’s Managing Director – has recently passed the STEP Certificate in Financial Services and is the first adviser in East Yorkshire to achieve this. The STEP qualifications are globally recognised by IFAs and Solicitors as being of a high standard and use when dealing with trust and estate issues and this is an excellent achievement by Kevin and expands Informed Financial Planning’s already high levels of qualifications.
Becky Colley – IFP’s Operations Director & Compliance Officer – stated “The fact that Kevin has obtained the STEP Certificate not only adds to IFP’s ability to advise clients in complex areas but also increases our stance in the local profession community. STEP is a global qualification which Solicitors and other professionals recognise as being extremely valuable when advising clients in areas such as Inheritance Tax, trust and estate planning. These are areas which some IFA’s have traditionally tended to shy away from due to their complexity. Having the first adviser in East Yorkshire to obtain the Certificate is a fantastic vindication of our commitment to high quality advice and putting our clients first in everything we do.”
Kevin and Informed Financial Planning have a fantastic record in professional qualifications – Kevin is a fellow member of the Personal Finance Society and the Association of Accounting Technicians – and we were recently pleased to announce that two more members of our team – Becky Colley and John Copsey – are now Chartered Financial Planners.
