Kevin FerribyKevin Ferriby – Managing Director

Kevin is the Managing Director and Founder of the Company. He was one of the first financial advisers in the UK to become a Chartered Financial Planner. He is a Fellow Member of both the Personal Finance Society and the Association of Accounting Technicians. His accountancy background combined with his financial services experience means that he spends most of his time dealing with the needs of our more sophisticated clients and our network of professional connections. Kevin is also instrumental in making presentations to both clients and fellow professionals.

Away from the office Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, watching rugby league, travelling and skiing.

Becky Colley

Becky Colley – Operations Director

Becky is our Operations Director and manages the day to day running of the Company. She has obtained the Diploma in Financial Planning and her examination record is without parallel, having twice been recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute for outstanding success. Becky is responsible for the compliance and operations side of the business and manages the research and data that make their way into our client reports and strategies. She also organises our back office IT support systems and runs the Human Resources aspect of the firm.  Her technical knowledge coupled with meticulous preparation ensures that our clients receive a high-quality professional service.

Out of the office Becky has a keen interest in history and films, offers advice related support to a local children’s panel and enjoys socialising with friends and family.

Gregg Crawford – Senior Financial Planner

Gregg has been involved in the financial services profession for 10 years following the completion of his Honours Degree in Business Studies. He since developed his career both through his experience and professional qualifications and currently holds the Diploma in Financial Planning. Gregg specialises in dealing with Private Clients and is responsible for a number of strategic alliances with professional firms in the East Yorkshire area.

When not at the office Gregg’s spare time is spent with his young family and socialising with friends.

Darren Goodall – Senior Financial Planner

Darren joined the financial services sector after graduating from University in 2000 and has since achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning. He has a strong knowledge of all areas of financial planning, specialising in investments, pre and post retirement planning and equity release. Darren spends a significant amount of his time managing our relationship with a prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants in South Yorkshire, as well as providing a high quality service to our West Yorkshire based clients.

In his spare time Darren is an avid traveller, and spends a lot of time playing football, fell running and watching his beloved Stoke City!

Andy Collinson – Senior Financial Planner

Andy joined Informed Financial Planning in the summer of 2008 as a Senior Financial Planner and has been in the financial services profession for 28 years. Most of his career to date has been spent with a major UK life office and he has a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of markets and product areas. His prime focus has been in the pensions arena ranging from advising clients on their options at retirement, SIPPs, SSAS’ and group employer arrangements.

Outside of the office Andy enjoys the great outdoors, camping, running, mountain biking, walking, travel, music and spending time with his family.

John CopseyJohn Copsey – Senior Financial Planner

John recently joined the company as a Senior Financial Planner having previously worked for the UK’s largest pension company. He has achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning and has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector. John spends much of his time looking after our corporate and personal clients across Yorkshire and is also involved in making presentations to clients and fellow professionals.

Away from the office John is a keen rugby union fan and enjoys socialising.

Richard McArthur – Senior Financial Planner

Richard is a Senior Financial Planner and has over 20 years experience in the financial services profession, the last 12 of which have been advising high net worth clients. He has worked for a  large firm of accountants in both London and Birmingham. This  background means that he spends a significant amount of time dealing with professional connections. Richard is based near  Milton Keynes and services our Southern based clients from there. He travels regularly to both the Hull and Leeds office.

Richard is married with two young sons which takes up a lot of his free time,  he also enjoys motor sport, football, camping and socialising.

Paul Bowater – Research Analyst

Paul joined us as a Research Analyst in November 2010. He graduated from Hull University with a degree in Financial Management and Accounting and has gained professional experience within a national solicitors firm prior to commencing the graduate trainee program at IFP. His initial hardworking ethos and ability to absorb technical information is already having a positive impact on the support team.

In his spare time Paul enjoys socialising with friends and family, music, football and the gym.

Joe Sanders – Research Analyst

Joe joined IFP as a Research Analyst in August 2011 as part of our graduate trainee programme.  He graduated from Hull University with a degree in Business and Financial Management.  Joe’s hardworking attitude and ability to work well within the team has already allowed him to become an important part within IFP, in a short space of time.
In his spare time Joe plays rugby union for Hull Ionians and also enjoys spending time socialising with friends.

Jamie Naylor – Research Analyst

Jamie joined us as a Research Analyst in September 2011.  He graduated from Coventry University with a degree in Business Management and has gained professional experience working within blue chip companies prior to commencing the graduate trainee program at IFP. He has a keen attitude to learn and his enthusiastic nature has provided him with a good platform to progress.
In his spare time Jamie enjoys running, football and socialising with friends and family.

 

Elaine FyfeElaine Fyfe – Adviser Support

Elaine joined the Company as an Administrator following a merger with another practice in June 2008.  She had spent 15 years with her previous firm acting within a similar role after beginning her career as an Audio Typist in 1993. She spends most of her time liaising with providers and clients to ensure that the implementation of our strategies achieve positive and efficient outcomes.

In her spare time Elaine enjoys visiting the theatre, walking and reading.

Joanne WraithJoanne Wraith – Adviser Support

Jo is an Administrator of the Company with over 25 years experience in financial services. She qualified as a Financial Adviser in 1991 and later took the CeMap qualifications in order that she could advise on mortgages. In 2009 with the demands of a young family Jo decided to use her financial services experience to assist our Financial Planners in providing the information required to deliver a high quality client service.

Jessica McMahonJessica McMahon – Adviser Support

Jessica is an Administrator at Informed Financial Planning.  She joined the company in March 2010 as an Apprentice and subsequently completed her NVQ Level II in Business Administration.  She has now started studying towards the Certificate in Financial Administration whilst gaining invaluable insight into financial planning within our team.  Her initial enthusiasm and ambition is sure to stand her in good stead for the future.

Alex Elvidge – Adviser Support

Alex recently joined Informed Financial Planning as part of an Apprenticeship Scheme with the East Riding College.  He is gaining first-hand experience within the company whilst working towards his NVQ Level II in Business and Administration.  The role will provide him with a solid base knowledge of both administration and the Financial Services profession.  Alex’s initial hard working mentality and drive to see tasks through to completion are sure to put him in a good position to work his way up the career ladder within the team.
